1. Open your product/catalogue item.
2. Use the HS Code Finder and search by what the product actually is (its material or function), not its brand name.
3. Prefer the most specific 8-digit line that fits; if none fits precisely, use the closest 4-digit heading.
4. Save the code on the item, along with its tax class.

Tips for choosing well

• Search the substance: "cooking oil" not "Sunfoil"; "cement" not the brand.
• Group similar products under the same code where they share a tariff line.
